Matter Madrid opens
We opened Matter Madrid at Claudio Coello 55, inside the Meet Design Center created with Domestico Pro: material library, advice and a meeting place.

On Wednesday 23 February 2022 we opened Matter Madrid, our second space after Matter Barcelona, at Calle Claudio Coello, 55, in the Salamanca district. Studios such as Ábalos Sentkiewicz, Ilmio Design, Lorna de Santos, MIL Studio, More&Co, OOIIO, Pepe Leal, Ruiz Pardo - Nebreda, Studio Gronda and Zooco joined us.
Matter Madrid opened inside the Meet Design Center (MDC), a meeting and co-creation space for architecture and interior design studios born from the synergies between Matter Group and Domestico Pro, with one shared purpose: making it easier to bring projects to life as a whole.
A co-creation space in the Salamanca district
The Meet Design Center brings together two companies that share a passion for design and the conviction that it improves people's quality of life. It is a meeting place for professionals, advisers, projects and products, conceived as an extension of architecture and interior design studios.
Matter Madrid follows Matter's purpose: to be the consultancy and specification partner for bringing all kinds of projects to life, with a team of architects and interior designers who spend every day getting to know what the market offers in materials and finding the best solution for each client and each building.
A material library that keeps evolving
Matter Madrid has a material library that is constantly updated, a natural extension of architecture and interior design studios and, at the same time, a meeting point for sharing knowledge among professionals in the sector.
In every selection we weigh criteria such as circularity, origin, energy impact, toxicity, durability and flexibility, so that projects have a smaller, more sustainable long-term impact, and to improve the result of the finished building and its surroundings.
Domestico Pro: furniture for the project
Domestico Pro is a step in the evolution of Domestico Shop and its mission to bring design closer to people. It was created to help architects and interior designers develop and fully furnish their projects, with a team that supports them alongside furniture design brands.

At the same address, the Meet Design Center as we know it today was born in May 2026: a space for collaborative specification with thirteen brands and the Materia Viva innovation hub.
